As confirmed all machines have been working with the 03 machines that were non-ops made operational by substitution /swinging from other tanks at the time of tank cleaning. - the estimation of total sludge at 20 cbm may be reconfirmed progressively as the tanks are inspected. - Accordingly, please continue the gas freeing operations and inspection of tanks. When inspecting the tanks, a thorough inspection of shadow areas (as reflected in the COW plan of the vessel) of the COW machines may be carefully assessed and pictures taken of the same. - the vessel will not wash the tanks with Caustic Soda, as it is our understanding that it will require more cleaning at high temperatures to remove all traces of its deposits. The process going forward is: - IW + 4W COT's are to be rewashed, while the 2W+3W+6W COT's gas freeing are proceeded with. - After the tanks are confirmed to be cleaned to the standard of 5S COT, upon gas freeing and visual inspection, de-mucking by shore gang will be carried out.
